Do you want a portrait or landscape design layout?
 
The orientation of your ID cards really depends on the information you wish to print on the card. Generally, portrait formats allow for more information to be displayed. However, a landscape format may be more appropriate if you wish to utilise magnetic stripe options on your cards.
 
 
How do you intend your employees to carry the card?
 
In some organisations, ID cards must be carried on the person and visible at all times. Therefore, one must consider what the ID card is going to be attached to. Clips provide the most economical choice, however provide restrictions when attachment to clothing is not possible.
